HADAS, WHAT CAN YOU TELL US? HADAS: WE KNOW A MAN AND WOMAN, A COUPLE, WERE INSIDE WITH THEIR FIVE DOGS. YOU CAN SEE THE DAMAGE IS SO SEVERE. FIREFIGHTERS CONSIDER THIS A TOTAL LOSS. THEY GOT THE CALL SHORTLY — THIS MORNING. THE CLOSEST HYDRANT IS A MILE A WAY BUT THEY WERE PREPARED FOR THAT. THEY BROUGHT TINKER TRUCKS WITH THEM. IT SEEMS LIKE THE FIRE MAY HAVE STARTED INSIDE THE GARAGE. >> THERE IS A REPORT THAT THERE WERE SOME CAR BATTERIES IN THE ROCHE. THAT MAY HAVE BEEN THE CAUSE, BUT IT IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION. Family escapes house fire in Apopka

A family escaped a burning home early Monday morning, according to fire officials.Crews received a call shortly after 2 a.m. A man and woman were inside the home on Alamosa Court with their five dogs at the time of the fire, officials said.It is believed that the fire started inside the garage.Check back with WESH 2 News for updates as they become available.

A family escaped a burning home early Monday morning, according to fire officials.

Crews received a call shortly after 2 a.m. A man and woman were inside the home on Alamosa Court with their five dogs at the time of the fire, officials said.

It is believed that the fire started inside the garage.
