Police: Cocoa children say they were chased by man with gun

Three children in Cocoa said they were chased at gunpoint Friday as they were going home after school. Surveillance footage captured the children running into their home near Colchester Road.According to the children, a man in his mid-20s with a mohawk in a red Ford F-150 drove toward them before driving off.Cocoa Police said they have not been able to verify the details and have not found the truck or driver. But the children’s mother wants everyone to know to watch their children.No arrests have been made but police said the case is still open.

Three children in Cocoa said they were chased at gunpoint Friday as they were going home after school. Surveillance footage captured the children running into their home near Colchester Road.

According to the children, a man in his mid-20s with a mohawk in a red Ford F-150 drove toward them before driving off.

Cocoa Police said they have not been able to verify the details and have not found the truck or driver. But the children’s mother wants everyone to know to watch their children.

No arrests have been made

but police said the case is still open.
