Man accused of stabbing girlfriend in Las Vegas arrested in Kissimmee, police say

The Kissimmee Police Department was contacted Monday by the North Las Vegas Police Department in reference to an attempted murder suspect possibly in the Kissimmee area.Fernando Rodriguez Corbin, 58, was wanted in Las Vegas for allegedly stabbing hisgirlfriend and male roommate more than five years ago.On Thursday, Kissimmee officers spotted a male matching Corbin’s description at the HomeDepot off West Vine Street. Corbin initially only provided a partial name and reversednumbers of his Social Security number, officials said. The Kissimmee Police Department then contacted the North Las Vegas Police Department and were able to identify him by his tattoos.Corbin has been arrested and is currently in custody at the Osceola County Jail, officials said.Check back with WESH 2 News for updates as they become available.

The Kissimmee Police Department was contacted Monday by the North Las Vegas Police Department in reference to an attempted murder suspect possibly in the Kissimmee area.

Fernando Rodriguez Corbin, 58, was wanted in Las Vegas for allegedly stabbing his

girlfriend and male roommate more than five years ago.

On Thursday, Kissimmee officers spotted a male matching Corbin’s description at the Home

Depot off West Vine Street. Corbin initially only provided a partial name and reversed

numbers of his Social Security number, officials said. The Kissimmee Police Department then contacted the North Las Vegas Police Department and were able to identify him by his tattoos.

Corbin has been arrested and is currently in custody at the Osceola County Jail, officials said.
