WESH.COM. JIM: IT WAS A ROUGH, COOL DAY ACROSS CENTRAL FLORIDA AND THE CLOSER TO THE COAST, THE WORST — THE WORST IT WAS. TONY: WELL SAID. EVEN THOUGH WE WERE IN THE 20’S AND 30’S, I THINK PEOPLE WOULD ARGUE IT IS WORSE WHEN YOU HAVE A 30 TO 40 MILE-PER-HOUR WIND A LOT OF QUESTIONS TODAY WERE ABOUT WHEN PEOPLE COULD PUT THEIR TOMATO PLANTS BACK IN THE GROUND. WHEN IS IT SAFE WHERE WE DO NOT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT A FREEZE? WE HAVE BROKEN THAT DOWN. IN ORLANDO, KISSIMMEE, AND SANFORD, USUALLY THE SECOND WEEK OF FEBRUARY. THE AVERAGE FREEZE POTENTIAL DROPS OFF AFTER THAT. LEESBURG, PALM COAST, USUALLY THE THIRD WEEK OF FEBRUARY ON AVERAGE IS WHEN WE TYPICALLY SEE THE LAST FREEZE. IN NORTHERN SUMTER COUNTY, MARION COUNTY, WE SEE FREEZES AS LATE AS MID MARCH BUT ON AVERAGE , TOWARD THE END OF FEBRUARY. DO NOT GET TOO AGGRESSIVE WITH THE PLANTS YET. DOWNTOWN ORLANDO, 54 RIGHT NOW. WE HAVE HAD GUSTS OF WIND 20 TO 30 MILES AT THE COAST. YOU CAN SEE THIS AREA OF LOW PRESSURE. A POCKET OF RAIN’S TO THE SOUTH AND EAST OF I-95 BEGINNING TO BREAK UP. IN TOWN, SANFORD, SORRENTO, LOOKING GOOD. RAIN REDEVELOPING. MODELS TEND TO SHOW IT WILL BE A CONVERSION BAND SETTING UP LIKE WE HAD IN BREVARD COUNTY FURTHER TO THE NORTH LATER TONIGHT. HIGH SURF ADVISORIES REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH 7:00 P.M. THURSDAY. WE WILL NOT SEE A FREEZE TONIGHT. WE WILL SEE RAIN THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS, ESPECIALLY NORTH OF NEW SMYRNA BEACH. OVERNIGHT LOWS IN THE MORNING, IN TOWN, LOWER 50’S. A CHANCE FOR A COUPLE OF ORLANDO TOMORROW AS LOW PRESSURE IS NEARBY. FRIDAY, LOOKING GOOD. A WARM UP. MID-70’S. TOMORROW, UPPER 60’S AND LOW 70’S. WE HAVE A ROCKET LAUNCH FRIDAY. FALCON 9 STARLINK. CLOUDS AND WIND ARE THE CONCERN. 80% CHANCE OF GETTING UP WITHOUT MANY ISSUES. FRONT SATURDAY MORNING ACROSS SOUTH FLORIDA. GORGEOUS WEEKEND WEATHER. THE DAYTONA 5K. JIM K IS HOSTING THIS. CHILLY — JIM PAYNE IS HOSTING THIS. CHILLY FOR THE RUNNERS. 60’S BY DAY. 40’S BY NIGHT. PRO BOWL, LOOKING GOOD. 60’S. QUICK SHOWERS THURSDAY AND FRIDAY. GORGEOUS WEEKEND. MORE
