STEWART: WESH 2’S PAUL RIVERA REPORTS FROM COCOA WITH THOSE DETAIL PAUL: COCOA POLICE SAY BECAUSE OF THE SHOOTING, A NEARBY SCHOOL WAS BRIEFL PUT ON A SHELTER IN PLACE BUT THAT HAS BEEN LIFTED. POLICE SAY RIGHT NOW THEY ARE LOOKING FOR BLACK ALTIMA. THEY BELIEVE THAT’S POSSIBLY THE VEHICLE THAT WAS PART OF A DRIVE BY SHOOTING WHERE ONE MAN WAS SHOT IN THE SHOULDER. POLICE SAY THAT MAN TOLD THEM HE WAS WALKING ON THE SIDEWALK ON PINEDA WHEN IT HAPPENED. POLICE ALSO SAY THEY WERE INITIALLY CALLED A LITTLE AFTE 11:00 TO NEARBY NORTH GEORGIA AVENUE, AND RIGHT NOW ARE STILL INVESTIGATING. Cocoa police investigating drive-by shooting

Cocoa Police are asking for the public’s help after a man was shot during a reported drive-by shooting.Police said they are looking for a black Altima after a person was shot in the shoulder on Wednesday.According to officials, the man said he was walking on the sidewalk on Pineda Street when the incident occurred.Because of the shooting, Endeavor Elementary was put on a shelter in place for a brief time.Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact Cocoa Police.

Cocoa Police are asking for the public’s help after a man was shot during a reported drive-by shooting.

Police said they are looking for a black Altima after a person was shot in the shoulder on Wednesday.

According to officials, the man said he was walking on the sidewalk on Pineda Street when the incident occurred.

Because of the shooting, Endeavor Elementary was put on a shelter in place for a brief time.
