Orange County deputy suffers minor injuries in early morning crash, officials say

An Orange County deputy was treated for minor injuries after he allegedly crashed his vehicle early Tuesday morning, according to officials.It happened at 3:54 a.m., according to the report. The deputy was responding to an emergency call for service while traveling on Powers Drive when he allegedly struck a power pole and fence at Postell’s Mortuary. Orange County Fire Rescue crews responded and treated the deputy on scene for minorinjuries. The Florida Highway Patrol responded to investigate the crash and OUC responded to fix the power pole, officials said.
