DAVE: ACCUSED OF A LEWD ACT IN FRONT OF A TEENAGER, 33-YEAR-OLD EVAN MANESS APPEARED IN A JAIL COURTROOM. THE JUDGE TOLD HIM IF HE’S RELEASED ON BOND, HE’S RESTRICTED ON WHERE HE CAN GO. >> NO RETURN TO ANY PUBLIC PARK OR ANY PARK WHERE CHILDREN FREQUENT. DAVE: WINTER SPRINGS OFFICERS WERE CALLED TO THE AREA OF TROTWOOD PARK MONDAY AFTERNOON. A TEENAGER SAID A MAN IN A WHITE PICKUP CALLED HER OVER FOR DIRECTIONS, AND THAT HE EXPOSED HIMSELF TO HER. >> WITH THE DETAILED DESCRIPTION SHE GAVE US OF THE VEHICLE AND THE SUBJECT, WE WERE ABLE TO QUICKLY LOCATE HIM. DAVE: THIS IS THE TRUCK THE GIRL DESCRIBED TO COPS: “OLDER MODEL, GUY IN HIS 20’S OR 30’S.” MANESS IS 33. SHE OFFERED OTHER DISTINCT DETAILS. >> HE HAD SUNGLASSES ON, WHICH HAD SOME TYPE OF CAMOFLAUGE ON THEM, WEARING A HAT AND ONE EAR BUD IN HIS EAR. DAVE ALL THINGS THE RESPONDING : OFFICER SAW BEFORE PULLING MANESS OVER. THE TEEN LOOKED AT MANESS AND SAID SHE WAS 100% POSITIVE IT WAS HIM. AND DESPITE MANESS TELLING POLICE HE DID NOT DO THAT, THE VICTIM INDICATED HE WAS TRYING TO PURSUE A YOUNGER GIRL EARLIER ON, SOMETHING INVESTIGATORS ARE STILL WORKING. >> IT IS A CONCERN OF OURS, WE HAVE HAD A COUPLE OF TIPS THAT CAME IN, SOME INFORMATION WE’RE FOLLOWING UP ON TO MAKE SURE THERE’S NO OTHER OUTSTANDING VICTIMS. Man accused of exposing himself to teen in Winter Springs

Winter Springs police want to know if a man accused of exposing himself to a teenager has more victims.The suspect was identified as Evan Maness, 33.Maness was taken to the Seminole County Jail, officials said.Police say the incident occurred at Trotwood Park in Winter Springs. Police say the teenage victim called 911 just after 4 p.m. Monday to report that a man driving by the park in a truck had exposed himself.Police say they located and arrested Maness within 30 minutes of that phone call.According to police, the victim said Maness asked for directions and when the teen approached the truck, they noticed he had exposed his genitals and was fondling himself.That’s when the teen fled the area and called law enforcement, officials said.Police released a photo of the truck. They say other officers in the area noticed the truck and Maness while the initial officers were working with the victim. Police say the victim positively identified Maness as the man who exposed himself. Maness is charged with lewd and lascivious behavior in the presence of a juvenile victim and driving on a suspended license.Police are now asking anyone who may have had a similar experience with Maness to call police right away.
