An Ohio police officer helped get two women out of their home minutes before it went up in flames.His heroic rescue was caught on camera.Officer Andrew Baitzel was the first person at the scene of the garage fire, according to WSYX.His body camera was rolling as he banged on the side door of the home on fire.After he knocks multiple times, you can see a woman come to the door in the video. Baitzel got the women out of the home safely before the fire spread, WSYX reports.”It’s just one of those things that you’ve got to stay calm, so you can think clearly and get everybody out of the house,” Baitzel told WSYX.Baitzel said he’s not a hero and that he was just doing his job.”We have 25 guys, roughly, and they would have all done the same thing,” he said.

An Ohio police officer helped get two women out of their home minutes before it went up in flames.

His heroic rescue was caught on camera.

Officer Andrew Baitzel was the first person at the scene of the garage fire, according to WSYX.

His body camera was rolling as he banged on the side door of the home on fire.

After he knocks multiple times, you can see a woman come to the door in the video. Baitzel got the women out of the home safely before the fire spread, WSYX reports.

“It’s just one of those things that you’ve got to stay calm, so you can think clearly and get everybody out of the house,” Baitzel told WSYX.

Baitzel said he’s not a hero and that he was just doing his job.

“We have 25 guys, roughly, and they would have all done the same thing,” he said.
