Another university added to Disney program offering free tuition

A new school is now included in the Disney program that offers 100 percent tuition for cast members. Disney announced Monday that the University of Arizona will now be offered as an education option under the Disney Aspire education investment program. “The addition of the University of Arizona to our growing list of Disney Aspire network schools helps us further our commitment to support our more than 90,000 eligible employees’ and Cast Members’ education and career goals,” said The Walt Disney Company’s Senior Executive Vice President and Chief HR Officer Jayne Parker. The addition of the University of Arizona allows employees to pursue an additional 14 online bachelor’s degree programs including public health, network operations, environmental science and business administration. Since Disney Aspire launched almost a year ago, more than 40% of Disney’s eligible employees have signed up and more than 8,000 individuals have enrolled in education programs.The University of Central Florida, Valencia College, Brandman University, the University of Florida Online, the University of Denver, Wilmington University and Bellevue University already offer degrees as part of the program.
