FLOODING IN SOUTH FLORIDA THIS TIME OF YEAR. FULL MOON NIGHT, HIGH TIDE. TONY: THE ELEVATION OF THE OCEAN IS COMING UP. WE ARE SEEING MORE AND MORE OF THAT THE LAST DECADE. NO RAIN, AND WE HAVE HEAT COMING. IF YOU LIKE THE HEAT, YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH THE FORECAST. LOOKING GREAT, THE WIND OUT OF THE EAST-SOUTHEAST. THERE IS THE DOME OF HIGH-PRESSURE TO THE EAST. BEAUTIFUL WEATHER AT THE COAST. WE COULD GET A SPRINKLE OFF TO THE WEST BUT EVEN THERE IT IS LOOKING LESS AND LESS LIKELY. WE ARE MORE CONCERNED WITH HIGH RIP CURRENT RISKS INTO THE UPCOMING WEEKEND THE DEEP EASTERLY FLOW, BACK TO THE MODELS FOR A SECOND, WANT TO SHOW YOU SHOWERS TO THE WEST FAIRLY QUICKLY. TEMPERATURES 80’S, IN TOWN 84. 87 INTO WINTER HAVEN. 7:00 TO 7:00 THAT IS A GREAT STRETCH OF WEATHER. EARLY-MORNING TEATIME OR MAKING PLANS TO GET A RUN IN, YOU WILL BE IN GREAT SHAPE. 60’S ON SOUTH AND EAST, LOOKING AT SATURDAY, FANTASTIC AND THEN SUNDAY, DEEP EASTERLY FLOW. SHOWERS BACK TO THE WEST AND WE COULD HAVE A SUNDAYS. MID 80’S, AND NOW LOOKING AT THE INLAND HIGH TEMPERATURES, UPPER 80’S TO AROUND 90 DEGREE. THE WIND EAST-SOUTHEAST FIVE TO 10 MILES PER HOUR, WATER TEMPERATURES 70’S. THE RIP CURRENT COME ALONG EASTERLY SWELLS. HIGH TIDE 7:52, LOW TIDE 12:07 AND THAT IS WHEN THE RIP CURRENT RISK WILL BE AT ITS GREATEST. LOOKING AT THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK, THE REASON WE ARE HEATING UP IS THE LONGEST STRETCH OF DRIER AND HOTTER WEATHER. WE HAVE THIS BIG RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE. THIS MEANS THE AIR IS SINKING. IT HEATS UP AND THAT IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING AT. MIGHT SEE UPPER 90’S TO 100 DEGREE TEMPERATURES NORTH OF — IN TOWN NOT THAT HOT BUT WE ARE SEEING THE WARMEST TEMPERATURES OF THE YEAR TOWARDS THE LATTER HALF OF NEXT WEEK. NEXT WEEKEND, THIS RIDGE WILL GRADUALLY BE BREAKING DOWN WHICH WILL ALLOW FOR TEMPERATURES AT THE END OF NEXT WEEKEND TO COME DOWN. TROPICALLY SPEAKING THINGS ARE QUIET. THIS TIME OF YEAR, THE FRONT CAN DEVELOP A LITTLE WAVE OR AREAS OF LOW PRESSURE. THIS ONE IS FAR TO THE SOUTH. WE THINK DOWN THE ROAD A WAVE OF LOW PRESSURE COULD SOMEHOW DEVELOP SOUTH AND WEST OF BERMUDA, BE SUBJECT TROPICAL — SUBTROPICAL. WE WANT YOU TO GET READY FOR THE HURRICANE SEASON. TIME TO GET YOUR PREPARATION KITS INTO HIGH GEAR. SATURDAY GOOD, SUNDAY LATE DAY SHOWERS.
