Caught on camera: Woman attempts to kidnap 4-year-old from California McDonald’s

Police in California are searching for a woman who they say tried to kidnap two four-year-old children this week.One of the incidents was caught on a surveillance camera Tuesday at a McDonald’s location in Los Angeles.In the video released by the LAPD, the woman can be seen approaching the child before picking them up and carrying the four-year-old out of the restaurant.Police say the woman was eventually stopped in the parking lot by a witness and fled the scene.Authorities said the woman didn’t stop there. She allegedly tried to kidnap another four-year-old the following day, but was again stopped by a witness and took off.“The suspect went ahead and grabbed the little child’s hand and tried to take him with her. She even said in Spanish, ‘Come with me.’ Obviously, the child or relative that was with him stopped him,” LAPD officer Mike Lopez told KCBS. Police say both children were with relatives or caregivers at the time of the incidents. Detectives are looking to determine if the two children are related to the woman in any way.
