A Central Florida woman grabbed her camera phone when she saw a suspected porch pirate walking away with packages.Her video is being circulated in Osceola County as investigators attempt to identify the man caught with packages in his hands.Maggie Mercado says about a month and half ago, packages started vanishing from apartments at the Regatta Bay complex in Kissimmee.Mercado said she’d had enough, so she started paying close attention to porches other than her own.When she saw a package last week as she drove in, she looked moments later as she was leaving.”When I drove out, it was missing and (a man) had it. So, I just turned around and parked the car and went after him,” Mercado said.The man allegedly had packages belonging to three different people which he set down when Mercado confronted him.Authorities issued a crime bulletin asking for help finding out who he is.”I don’t think he’ll come back here and do it,” Mercado said.Maggie said now that she has time to think about it, going after a complete stranger might have been overly risky. Police said they want to be called, rather than having a person confront someone.
