Deputies said footage from the scene showed Ward with a knife in his hand and the victim clutching his neck after the confrontation.Ward and the victim were both captured driving from the scene by surveillance, officials said.According to an arrest report, the victim drove himself to Osceola Regional Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition.Officials said Ward also drove himself to the hospital with a hand injury. Detectives said Ward admitted to being involved in an altercation with the victim. The report states Ward told detectives he hit the victim on the neck with a knife.Ward has been charged with first degree premeditated attempted murder. The victim has not been identified.
